The Brooklyn Circus SF has an open door policy and we always encourage everyone to take advantage of it.

The other day, fellow San Franciscans and friends of The BKcSF, Chris Mueller and Andre Gray stopped by the shop to chat about projects and ideas on how we can use Men’s fashion and etiquette to give back to the community.

Good friend Rob Mendoza came to catch up with the gang and also showed up to the shop bearing gifts. Thanks for the cookies Rob!

The Bearded Man will be speaking tomorrow at The Brooklyn Public Library. He will be joined by two other Brooklynites “who turned their creativity into profits.” The workshop he will part take in is titled “Young & Crafty: Brooklyn Entrepreneurs Share Their Stories.” Make sure you guys are all present tomorrow, it starts at 6pm at the business library at 280 Cadman Plaza
Brooklyn, NY 11201-2701 (718) 623-7000. For more info check out the BPL website.

The gang barely made it to the annual MIH BBQ in Prospect Park yesterday. After closing up shop we headed straight over there and made it right before the festivities were over. As usual there was an enormous crowd but we made our way through and bumped into a lot of familiar faces. Hopefully next year we will make it out to the park earlier and see more of the festivities. Yep! The Brooklyn Circus, Experience is Everything . . .
IMPORTANT: For the record The Brooklyn Circus was not a sponsor or organizer of the MIH BBQ 2009. As stated above we attended the event after our 7pm store closing and left the park before dark. Therefore, we did not and could not contribute to the littering issue. We are absolutely against littering as it is a poor sign of the BKc Style and Character that we live by.

The Bearded Man and Adam Rogers are an indie band on a quest into the past, they do not turn down the opportunity to hit the road for an inspiration trip, vintage shopping or antiquing. Adam only a week back from his home (London) trip and Ouigi less than 14 hours from the West coast (SF Anniversary and LA coasting), they snatched a cargo van and headed north to Brimfield, Massachussets 4 hours away. Destination: The Brimfield Antique & Collectibles Show “The largest outdoor antique show in the world, held since 1959″. Please stay tuned as they report the great finds, the heat, as well as miles upon miles of people and antiques. Yep! BKc Style, Inspiration & Character . . .
