Hey all!
I haven’t forgotten about you – definitely not with less than one week left in Milan! I’m getting in some last minute studying, but today’s field trips were too good not to send out. I’ll have to let the pictures do much of the talking this time.
Not only did we get to visit the Chanel factory, we also got a chance to see one of the best tanneries in Milan…and some would say the world (of course, such folks just happen to be from Milan too). They guided us through every phase of production both in the making of a shoe as well as the process of turning a piece of skin into a beautiful length of leather – absolutely fascinating.
