A dedicated writer and just all around good dude. Not often you find people that are willing to dedicate themselves to something with no strings attached simply from the love and respect. Dev has written for Trace Magazine and continues to pen for our lifestyle section at www.thebkcircus.com and still has time to be an observant socialite, when do you sleep Dev?
Hey I am making you a public offer to join the Book club and will not take no for an answer, loll.

The first photographer to ever snap a shot of The Brooklyn Circus space,staff or The Bearded Man was Brad Nelson. Brad has a client list ranging from GQ magazine, to Time Out Magazine to Columbia University, to Popular Mechanics and still has time to accept our offer to join The Book club. His work speaks for itself, you know a Brad Nelson shot when you see one,maybe it’s because I am always on his website or admiring his work. Thanks for being a good friend and considering The Book club, now that’s inspiration to me.Putting the Book club together D.T.
Yep! The Brooklyn Circus experience is everything . . .

Always inspired by the dust, the wood and weird things around Mac’s shop. Ha! he built a half pipe ramp in this studio,keep in mind Mac is no young buck. Putting the Book gang together D.T
Yep! The Brooklyn Circus experience is everything . . .

It’s wild the amount of money you can spend on toys after you built an empire started from selling graffiti tees. HA! Well, Marc Ecko the mastermind behind the Ecko universe, just purchased THE baseball that Barry Bonds hit for his record 756th home run, but he really doesn’t even want it. He wants the public to help decide what to do next, and You have 3 choices;
1) Send it to the Hall of Fame (As-is)
2) Send it to the hall of Fame branded (in protest that the record was broke w/ use of illicit performance enhancing drugs)
3) Or Send to it Outerspace (blast it on a rocket into space)

Just to think, a little baseball hit into the crowds in the San Francisco stadium is now in New York, and may end up in Outerspace… thats one hell-of-a homerun!

To continue to bring you the heart filled fun ish on a consistent basis,we have to be inspired. So I embarked on a journey to connect with some close friends that you can always count on for some inspiration. Made a few calls and there I was on a fun filled day connecting with some serious Brooklyn movers and shakers. First my Brooklyn Tech Alum Keesha Anderson who I want to nominate as a “Fly Girl” of the week on Fly Girls Blog
Thanks for the tour of your showroom Keesha, I was inspired in an interesting way, not where I was looking to be inspired,yet very inspired.
I then moved on to meet with a possible new manufacturer, Oops!
no pics, had to charge the battery, sucks huh? Ohh well the next stop was Harris Publishing to connect with Brooklyn don Datwon Thomas captain of The king Magazine ship. Datwon and I discussed our idea of starting a Book Club. Yep! a book club,get brain people, we’ll keep you posted on this for sure. For more info or to join email info@thebkcircus.com subject “Book em”
On my way from D’s office I connected with my x-treme ace steve Larosiliere who I worked for at his marketing firm (Ninja works) in Dumbo years ago. We walked over to his office where he now runs his non-profit Stoked Mentoring
,with a donated office by Marc Ecko and some serious support from some high powered individuals. Go donate and be a part of this history making organization,highly supported by The Brooklyn Circus. Had to head back to Brooklyn to meet with our local favorite carpenter/artist Mac Premo,to discuss more printing options and possibilities for “Guest Book” (you now have till this friday to deposit something into the project).
Ohh did I mention the day before that Ian stopped by the shop and we kicked it about the state of street fashion,skate,and retail. While kicking it with Ian, Nelson from Rebel Aire stopped by to discuss the details of our next project, yep! another The Brooklyn Circus x Rebel Aire project. enjoy the pics
