Stay tuned for a quick recap and more pics of a conversation between The Bearded man, Melvin de Villiers and Lalit Maria of the UK brand “Money”. We caught up with them the sunday before Project NY and kicked it a bit about NY fashion vs. fashion in Europe. The brand has been buzzing in the streets of NY and we had to ask them what the hype was about. Yep! The Brooklyn Circus East coast, West coast and Worldwide . . .

I have a big respect for Eddie and what he as done and is continue doing for the Street Culture movement, Unfortunately I missed his visit, but he did stop by to check the Harputs fellas. Do I sense an Undefeated coming to SF? I guess we’ll see…

Back from East Coast, but by the weather here in the Bay sure doesn’t feel like it! “BRICK CITY Sf!”

Anyhow, I was pleasantly pleased by my team that held me down at the shop while I was away. They did some nice re-merchandising and some styling on the mannequins. Having an eye for creative styling and merchandising is a sought after talent in this retail world; Do you have the talent? Let me know>> thebrooklyncircussf@gmail.com

Here we go: In my experience I realized that dumb people don’t run successful companies. If they do, you better believe they surround themselves with well-read, intelligent people; even a dummy knows to do that. With that being said, we surveyed a circle of successful business owner’s and friends of The Bkc. We asked them, “What books have you read that you highly recommend”. “What should our library in the “BKc Book Club” be stocked with as a kick off?

We are working on an over due post on “Inspiration, Creativity and Process”. Since we started building The Bkc line, we received I want to say about 200 emails/questions in relations to how we come up with the things we do. Anything from “What were you guys thinking of, when you came up with (blank), I wanna start a clothing line, or how do I become more creative?” and so on. Stay tuned . . .
