Etiquette for Gentlemen-London: George Routledge & Sons. (ISBN: 978-1-891656-64-4 ) We think every young man reading the blog and in search of Style + Character should make the investment in this little read. Not everything in it should be taken literally but it’s a great point of reference. “Etiquette, as we have elsewhere observed, may be defined as the minor morality of life. Its laws, like all other social laws, are the accumulated results of the wisdom and experience of many generations.” Yep! The Brooklyn Circus SF, Experience is Everything . . .
As we continue to develop our own Style + Character, we feel it is important to encourage you guys to so the same. We understand that not all our readers live in the most open minded neighborhoods and cities. But we challenge all of you to step outside of your comfort zones, and try something you may have seen at a runway show or in a magazine, but never had the confidence to attempt. We at The BKc have your back, and are here to advise and help guide you as we embark on this journey together, to explore new frontiers in urban style and fashion.
Something as simple as a kerchief tied around the neck can take your look from regular to runway. (Above) DSquared Spring ‘09 Runway Show.

In the spirit of the BKc visiting the San Francisco crew/store, we thought it would be a good idea to share a few rough tracks that we were compiling for a future BKc sound experiment. One of the songs, “San Francisco Lights” by Bobbi Humphrey, gathered some positive vibes over on the west coast…so we thought it would be a good idea to share it, along with some of the other rough drafts with you all. (Disclaimer: This is not an official playlist) Enjoy!

Special thanks to the Art Institute for inviting us to the Internship/ Job Fair and doing such a great job at promoting The Brooklyn Circus story to the pool of talented Art students. We were as much in awe of the turn out as they were about us being there. Thanks for all the love from students and faculty, yep! The Brooklyn Circus SF, Experience is Everything . . .

But it all came to an end when he set out to return to his normal post in Brooklyn. He promises to be back soon and more often. On behalf of all the new friends and family out here in the Bay, Yung Bev will genuinely be missed. Yep! The Brooklyn Circus SF, Experience is Everything . . .
Before The Bearded Man left for sunny San Fransisco, he had to earn his plane ticket the old fashioned way, with hard work. He shoveled enough driveways to pay for his ticket and to buy those fresh new brown Red Wing boots. The Bearded Man’s dedication and determination makes him a great Big Elephant for all the Little Elephants to follow. Yep! The Brooklyn Circus, Experience is Everything . . .
