The BKc Big Elephant Mentoring program provides opportunities for the youth in our community to explore, learn, and grow in their various fields of interest. And as a part of this program, last week The Brooklyn Circus NYc opened its doors for the graduating seniors of Benjamin Banneker H.S. to come in and conduct a yearbook photo shoot. The seniors styled each other, as well as shot the photographs and the results were great. Yep! The Brooklyn Circus, Experience is Everything . . .

The world has spoken! After a record-breaking amount of votes/comments, the winner is Autumn of Chicago. Her interpretation of the BKc Varsity was both fashionable and functional and ultimately, inspirational. All three ladies displayed their creativity, showing range and attention to detail. As promised for 2009, we have a bag of tricks for all our supporting BKc readers, shoppers, friends and family. We previously reported tht professional inline skater Joey G joined The BKc family and this past week he hit the road to start his global tour. Of course with his bag of tricks (the dude is S-I-C-K on skates, you tube or google him) for all of his rolling fans and BKc fans world wide.
